How The Artpothecary Works

Book Your Experience

  • Please fill out our private party form and let us know what type of event you’re looking to throw. One of our team members will be in touch with you shortly.

  • The rental fee for our venue without an art project is $450 for a 3-hour booking.

    If you're planning to include an art project, there is no rental fee. Instead, you’ll pay based on the selected project. Prices for art projects vary, and you can find full details in our Pricing & Service Guide.

Choose Your Add-Ons

  • We offer expertly crafted charcuterie boards created by Costal Board Eats, designed to serve groups of 10 or 20.

    10 person board $170

    20 person board $250

  • Our fully stocked bar features a selection of local craft beers, canned cocktails, and wine, along with mixed drinks, handcrafted cocktails, and refreshing mocktails made with locally sourced ingredients.

    Unlimited drink packages are available for $25/person and you must provide a valid ID

    Our drinks are also offered a la carte and can be paid for at the end of your event

Let’s Party

  • Our private parties are booked in 3 hour time slots but can be adjusted to meet your needs.

  • The experience varies depending on whether your party is doing an art project, and which project you choose. Most art projects typically take between 1 to 2 hours to complete, leaving plenty of time to mingle, enjoy food and drinks, and do whatever else your group desires!

  • Our office is currently open by appointment only. We’re planning to offer regular walk-in hours starting in Summer 2025—stay tuned for updates!

  • We’ve moved away from hosting scheduled artist workshops in this space. However, you can still book a private lesson with one of our talented artists! Just gather 6 or more friends and make it a fun, personalized experience. This approach ensures that both our artists and guests get the attention and value they deserve.

  • We’re committed to providing the best possible experience for everyone while also ensuring that our core needs are met. We’d love to chat with you about your vision and are happy to discuss other options.

  • Please fill out our private party form at the bottom of this page with as much information as possible. One of our staff members will be in touch shortly to discuss details and booking.

    We require a $250 deposit for all events that will be due upon booking to save your date. This Is fully refundable up until 7 day from the event. At that time, the full amount will be due.

Other Things We Offer

Artist Rising Program

  • At DAC, we created Artist Rising, a youth program for children ages 9-14 that combines art creation with entrepreneurial skills. The program fills a gap in local summer offerings, providing hands-on experiences in art, ceramics, and upcycled projects, while teaching skills like marketing, branding, and sales.

    Each week, participants work with a professional artist mentor, culminating in a public art show where they can showcase and sell their work, gaining confidence and real-world experience.

Rent Our Space

  • Love our space but not interested in an art project? No problem! You can rent our venue for birthday parties, engagement celebrations, rehearsal dinners, meetings, or any event you can imagine. To make your event even more special, we offer a list of approved music and food vendors to help elevate the experience.

  • The base price to rent our space is $450 for 3 hours but can be customized to your needs

Creative Off-site Events

  • Hosting a larger event that doesn’t quite fit into our space, or looking for a unique activity to enhance your existing celebration? Bring the Artpothecary to you! We can bring our acrylic art pours to your location, adding a fun, creative touch to your event.

  • Acrylic Paint Pours with Us

    Acrylic paint pours are the Artpothecary’s specialty! Choose your shape and your colors, add glitter, customize it with font. Each project includes one mini magnet pour and one large shape.

  • Ceramics with Millie

    Millie is a ceramics artist offering a variety of projects, including pinch pot mugs, flower pots, and trinket dishes.
