Join Davis Crafted for a fun and festive 3-hour workshop where you'll learn to create a beautiful wet-felted wool holiday tree. This beginner-friendly class will guide you through crafting a tree that fits perfectly into an heirloom or favorite candle holder, which can be easily removed after the holiday season.

Your tree will be stuffed with all-natural kapok fiber and can be personalized at home with lights, buttons, stitching, or ornaments.

Basic sewing skills are required to attach the base after allowing the tree to dry at home.

In this workshop, participants will learn about the historic art of Sailor’s Valentines and will create three small ornaments in the style of a Sailor’s Valentine. Each ornament will be crafted on a 3.5” wood slice painted gold on both sides. The instructor will have a variety of sample design ideas and will demonstrate how to create shell flowers and other effects for the design.

These ornaments make wonderful holiday gifts or beachy decorations for your tree!
